Marie van Driessche (she/her)

Marie van Driessche is a Deaf UX Researcher and Designer at Unc Inc. in Amsterdam. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in creating meaningful and inclusive digital experiences by focusing on UX design, research, and accessibility. She ensures their solutions meet the highest standards of inclusivity and leverages data insights to make design decisions that resonate with users.

Currently, at Unc Inc, she works on projects like a waste recycling app for municipalities and self-help tools for addicts at Jellinek. Additionally, she teaches UX/UI and Detailed Design at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, mentoring students and participating in various lectures.
Marie is passionate about advocating for accessibility in digital design and ensuring user-friendly, inclusive solutions. Her commitment to enhancing user experiences is unwavering, guiding her team to uncover insights that drive impactful design decisions.

She is also an active speaker on UX and accessibility, having presented at meetups and international conferences like AWWWARDS and UX Salon.
Besides all the above, she loves to kitesurf, gardening and reading cookbooks in bed before falling asleep.
